After a life of love and quiet grace, Alicia Crevier, 29, has passed.

Below, the family shares some of what made her life meaningful.

The story begins in 1987, with the arrival of a life that would be cherished by many.

Alicia spent her working life as ['the camp as summer staff'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

What we lose too soon, we hold even tighter in memory.

Alicia C. Crevier, 29 of Hurley, SD, was taken home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 19, 2017 of unknown natural causes. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Thursday, August 24, 2017 at First Reformed Church, 4800 S. Tomar Road or 57th Street and Tomar Road, Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7pm Wednesday at the church. Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home. Alicia was born on December 7, 1987 at Winston Salem, NC to Mark and Celeste Clark. Alicia was saved and trusted Christ when she was 5 years old on July 10th, 1993. She went to Bethel Christian Academy in Hindman, Kentucky. She also went to Piedmont Bible College and Graduated from New York School of Photography. Alicia played volleyball in high school and college and also sang and played the piano during worship at her church. Alicia enjoyed teaching piano, photography, writing, drawing, cross-stitching and of course being with family. When she was 3 years old she moved with her parents to Camp Nathaniel near Hazard Kentucky where she grew up attending camp each summer, and later worked at the camp as summer staff. She loved traveling to Grandma Caveness in Ramseur, NC, with whom she was very close. Alicia married Jacob Crevier on June 7th, 2008 at Camp Nathaniel and moved to South Dakota soon after. She gave birth to 4 beautiful children, Elliot (6), Nadia (4), Oliver (2), and Caroline (2 months). She loved cooking and hosting friends at Jacob and her house. Alicia had sweet soul and had a smile for everyone, she truly was a kindred spirit. You never felt the same after you met her. She will be missed, she brightened our lives. Alicia is survived by her husband Jacob and their 4 children, Elliot (6), Nadia (4), Oliver (2) and Caroline (2 months), along with her parents; Mark and Celeste Clark and brother John Mark. She is preceded in death by all 4 grand parents.
