After a life of love and quiet grace, Delores Wray, 90, has passed.

Delores entered this world in 1930 — the start of a journey that would span 90 years.
Delores held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Those who live by belief leave a different kind of mark.
Delores Wray, 90, native of Parker and lived for many years in Sioux Falls, died Friday, October 9, 2020 at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center. Graveside services will be at 4:00pm Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Rosehill Cemetery in Parker. Delores Darlene Haase was born on January 9, 1930 at Geddes, SD to Gustaf and (Clara) Haase. At an early age she lost her Dad and her mother married Ted Tysdal whom became her loving step father. She attended country school and graduated from Parker High school in 1947. She attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa before being united in marriage to Gene Wray. She has lived in Sioux Falls for the past number of years. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church and volunteered at Luther Manor for many years. Grateful for having shared her life are 2 children, Dan and wife Gale, Sioux Falls and Mary Hodder, Washington, Iowa; 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step dad, husband, her sister Betty and a daughter Rebecca.
