It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of John H. Zimmer, 89, — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.

What you read below is one part of a life lived with quiet purpose.

John entered this world in 1922 — the start of a journey that would span 90 years.

John held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

The traditions John loved will continue to hold those he loved.
