Lewis Holmberg, 71 died Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the VA Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Services will be held at a later date at the Davis Cemetery, Davis, SD. He was born on June 14, 1942 in Parker, SD to Casper and Mattie (Griebel) Holmberg. He made a career of auto mechanics, and married Denise Benning on Sept 25, 1964. Grateful for having shared his life are two children, Lori Pliska and granddaughter, Alexis, of Sioux Falls, SD, and son, Dennis (Lisa Pierce) of Huron, SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, and infant son, Robert, and his wife, Denise.
