Janine Schulz, 53 of Sioux Falls died Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, January 21, 2022 in Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls with burial at Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Visitation will be an hour before services. Janine Marie Schulz was born on July 22, 1968 at Sioux Falls, SD to Roger and Sharon (Ihnen) Petit. She grew up in Sioux Falls where she attended school and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1986. After attending Black Hills State College in Spearfish she lived in Sioux Falls. For over 10 years she has employed with Gateway Computers, where in 1989 she met Jon Krause. To this union they have two sons, Josh and Jordan. In 2000 she retired due to health reasons. She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. Grateful for having share her life are her life partner Jon; 2 sons, Josh Krause and Renee, and Jordan Krause; her mother Sharon Petit; 2 brothers, Daron (Nikki) Petit and Chad (Kim) Petit; a nephew Keanon and 2 nieces, Elliana and Ava. She was preceded in death by her father in 2004.
