It is with sorrow and gratitude that we mark the passing of Mildred Steward, 89, — sorrow at the loss, gratitude for the life.
Below, a small portrait of a life that will not soon be forgotten.
The story begins in 1924, with the arrival of a life that would be cherished by many.
Mildred spent her working life as ['dental assistant for Dr'] and held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Faith is the language some lives are written in. Mildred's was one.
