Robert "Bob" Arnett, 41, died Saturday, August 9, 2014 at his home. Funeral services will be 10:30am Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Celebrate Church, 1000 S. Sycamore, Sioux Falls. Visitation with family present will be from 6-8:00pm Wednesday evening at Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls. Robert Jay Arnett was born on March 10, 1973 to Frank and Janet (McCall) Arnett at Sioux Falls, SD. He grew up at Sioux Falls where he attended school, graduating in 1991. On August 8, 1992 he was united in marriage to Rebecca "Beck" Luke at Sioux Falls. He has been employed at the Sheraton Sioux Falls and as a corrections officer at the South Dakota State Penitentiary for the past 15 years. Grateful for having shared his life are his five children, Kenny Arnett, Ashley Bietz, Corina Arnett, Mercedes Arnett, and Dominic Arnett, all of Sioux Falls; a granddaughter Lilly; his mother Janet Arnett, Perrin, TX; a brother Cliff Wolfe, Sioux Falls; a sister Patty (Curtis) Hufnagle, Perrin, TX; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father.
