Wanda Hagen, 79, has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Wanda's story began in 1940, and unfolded across the years that followed.

There is no greater gift than the one a parent gives by simply being present.

Wanda Hagen, 79 of Parker, passed away on June 28, 2019 at Ava's House in Sioux Falls. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, July 1, 2019 at the Chancellor Reformed Church. Visitation with family present will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home in Parker with a prayer service starting at 7:00 PM. Arrangements by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home. Wandalee (Hokenstad) Hagen passed away June 28 th 2019 at the Sanford Ava House in Sioux Falls SD. She was surrounded by family as she and got her angel wings. Wanda was born June 14 th 1940 in Yankton SD to Telmar and Mary (Belvins) Hokenstad. She grew up Flandreau and Parker SD. She then married Gerald Hagen on August 30 th 1956 in Parker SD. Wanda was a stay at home mom while her children were growing up. She then began her work career at Litton Microwave, SD Prison, Dayton's department store and SPS credit card services. She was an active member at Chancellor Reformed Church. She enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren in all of their activities over the years. She loved watching the Vikings and Twins on TV. Jerry and Wanda had 4 children Kelly (Jeff) Beebe Maplewood MN, Dawn Kidder San Antonio TX, Kevin (Shelly) Hagen Sioux Falls SD and Robin (Nate) His Law Pukwana SD. She was blessed with 9 grandchildren. Andrew (Molly) Hagen, Cole (Chole) Hagen, Melissa, Jessica, Elizabeth and Alicia Kidder, Jacob and Nathan His Law. 2 great grandchildren Riley and Ryder Hagen. She had 2 sisters Doris Flint from Viborg and Marjorie Hokenstad from Sioux Falls. She preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Fawn, brother Robert and grandson Steven Hagen.
