Willis Ratzlaff, 91, has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Here is the shape of a life remembered with love.

Willis's story began in 1932, and unfolded across the years that followed.

Willis held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

A life of service shapes more than the one who serves.

From 1953 to 1954 Willis served in the U.S. Army and was deployed to Korea serving in a medical staging unit. On February 8, 1964 he was united in marriage to Sharon L. Otten at Grace Lutheran Church in Parker. To this union three children were born; Kurt, Christopher, and Patrick.
